In view of strike call given by Hurriyat conference (G) the government is likely to impose restrictions in sensitive areas on Saturday to avoid any untoward incident.

Divisional commissioner Kashmir Shilnder Kumar told local news gathering agency KNS that administration would take every measure to ensure that the day will pass peacefully. “After assessing the situation if the need arises restrictions may be imposed,” Div  Com said.

Meanwhile senior government official said that all arrangements for Saturday’s concert are in final touch .150 musicians of Zubin Mehta are expected to land in Srinagar on Thursday. Roads from the airport to Shalimar garden are being sanitized with large contingent of police and Central Reserve of Police personal.

Pertinently the show organized by the German embassy, has drawn widespread opposition while Syed Ali Geelani has appealed people to observe civil curfew on Saturday a civil society group is organizing a parallel concert ‘Haqeeqat-e-Kashmir’ (Truth of Kashmir).
