2 militants, 2 army men killed in  encounter along LoC in Kupwara

Two militants and two army men were killed in a fierce encounter in Naugam sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in northern part of Kashmir on Saturday night.

Army claimed that it foiled an infiltration bid. “An infiltration bid was foiled by alert troops along the LoC in Naugam sector. Two infiltrating militants were killed,” an army official was quoted by news-gathering agencies.”
