Forces on Wednesday launched a cordon and search-operation in Khag area of Budgam district, reports said.
“A joint operation was launched by police and army early morning today in several localities of Shunglipora village following inputs about the presence of militants,” local reports quoting sources said.
They said that searches were being conducted in Daranpora, Ahangar Mohallah, Chan Mohallah and Khokar Mohalla in the village.
