A policeman was shot dead in Padgampora area of Awantipora in southern part of Kashmir’s Pulwama district, sources said on Monday.
According to local Sources, militants fired upon Ashiq Hussain who is Munshi of Pice Station Awantipora at Padgampora.
They said that Ashiq was going home after attending a marriage function.
”Ashiq was taken to a local hospital for treatment where he succumbed to injuries,” they added.
