The trio of Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami, Ghulam hassan Mir and Hakim Muhammad Yasin on Wednesday together met Government of India appointed interlocutor for Jammu and Kashmir, Dineshwar Sharma at Gupkar residence of Tarigami.

Later addressing a press conference, the trio said that during the meeting with Sharma they pressed for the release of all political prisoners of Jammu and Kashmir to make the dialogue process credible.

Responding to question, Tarigami said to restore credibility, Government of India should immediately release all the political prisoners.

He said that the government of India should learn from the past experiences and ensure that the dialogue process sustains and becomes result oriented.

“The responsibility of making the dialogue process credible, lies with the government of India,” Tarigami told media persons.

Tarigami represents the Kulgam constituency for the Jammu and kashmir assembly, while Hakim Yasin represents Khansahib in Budgam. Ghulam Hassan Mir is a former minister.
