Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested the son of mastermind involved in the rape and murder of an 8-year-old girl of Kathua.
A senior police official identified the detainee as Vishal son of Sanji Ram, the mastermind in the horrifying crime rape and murder case.
He added that the accused was arrested from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
Ashifa Bano was kidnapped on January 10 and her dead body was found on January 17 in Kathua.
A sub-inspector, head constable, two Special Police Officers have also been arrested by the Crime Branch so far.
Asifa went missing on January 10, from her Rasana home and her blood-drenched corpse was recovered on January 17.
