One person died and three others were injured in a road accident in Srinagar, police said on Friday.
A Truck bearing registration number JK01A/2449 and Platform bearing registration number JK02F/6025 collided near Gurudwara, Iqbalabad, Shalteng, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to both the drivers and conductors of the Truck and Platform.
Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Among the injured driver of the Platform Showkat Hussain Ganie son of Ghulam Ahmed resident of Chattergam, Chadoora succumbed to his injuries at JVC, Bemina, Srinagar.
However police informed that a case has been registered in this regard.
