SRINAGAR
One person died while eleven others were injured in differed road accidents, a police statement said on Wednesday.
“A Bus bearing registration number JK03/2883 while on way from Kargil to Drass hit a Sumo bearing registration number JK07/2297 at Tresbuce Drass near TV station, resulting in injuries to 06 persons. All the injured were shifted to hospital” the statement said.
Meanwhile, a Maruti Car bearing registration number JK04/7763 hit a hand cart running a Pakodas kiosk at Chanapora, resulting in burn injuries to 03 non-local labourers, the statement said. All the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
In another accident, “an EON car hit and injured a pedestrian Abdul Gani Shah so of Abdul Aziz resident of Danderkha Batamaloo near Bostan Hotel opposite Bakshi Stadium. The injured was shifted to B&J Hospital for treatment.”
The statement said that in an another accident, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK05/18091 hit and injured a lady at Papchan Bandipora. In this accident the motorcyclist was also injured. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
