Police on Wednesday arrested Bilal Ahmed, a policeman. Few days back, Bilal made a forcible entry into a residential house in Umarhair, Srinagar, masquerading as a militant.
Police have lodged an FIR in Police station Soura, FIR no. 48 under relevant sections. Police sources said, “Bilal has been arrested but is yet to be questioned.” They added, “he was injured after people had beaten him up and is now undergoing treatment.”
Protests were going on in the area, as the last reports poured in.
