SRINAGAR
One person died and ten others were injured in different road accidents across the valley. A police statement said on Tuesday.
A 40 years old Haleema wife of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Rawathpora, Baramulla was hit by a truck bearing registration number Jk09/7074 near State motor Garages Bypass, in Parimpora. She was shifted to SKIMS, Soura where she succumbed to her injuries. The body of deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites.
Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01G/0911 skidded off the road at Ananwan crossing, in Kralgund, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to six passengers. All the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
In another accident, a Tata magic bearing registration number JK09/637 collided with another vehicle at Novpora, in Sopore, resulting in injuries to four passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
