Minister for Finance, Dr Haseeb A Drabu informed the Lower House of J&K Legislature on Thursday that commercial helicopter services operating within the state have been brought within the ambit of taxation vide SRO-297 of September 02, 2015 by the Finance Department adding that the rate of tax in respect of commercial helicopter services is 12.60%.
Replying to a question by Rajiv Jasrotia, the Minister said that at present no such proposal to roll back the said tax is under consideration with the Government. He said that tax is applicable to all commercial helicopter services operating within the state.
Ranbir Singh Pathania and Pawan Kumar Gupta raised the supplementaries to the question.
