The District Rent Assessment Committee, which met here today with Deputy Commissioner Jahangir Mir in chair, approved 12 rent cases of the total 17 taken up. As many as 5 cases were deferred for want of requisite formalities.
As per a statement the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion called for expeditious payment of the rent among the concerned land and structure owners. He also stressed on maintaining the accommodation taken on rent by different departments.
