SRINAGAR: A 17-year-old non-local boy sustained grievous injuries after being allegedly assaulted with a sharp weapon in the Gudoora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening.
Officials said that the victim, a resident of Bihar, was allegedly assaulted by his roommate with a sharp-edged weapon.
He was brought to District Hospital Pulwama with deep injuries on his abdomen. He was later referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar, for advanced treatment.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation into the matter has been initiated. (JKNS)
