Two persons died and two others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley.

A Tavera bearing registration number JK01T-4752 while coming from Gulmarg to Tangmarg turned turtle near Zig Mode, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gulmarg, resulting in on spot death of the driver Fayaz Ahmad Dar age of 35 years son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Zero Bridge, Srinagar and injuries to tourist namely Om Prakash age of 48 years son of Chuni Lal resident of Chatra, Delhi. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Tangmarg where he also succumbed to his injuries. In this regard a case FIR No. 24/2013 under section 279, 304A RPC registered.

A Maruti car bearing registration number JK03-5170 on way from Mir Bazar to Anantnag collided with an unknown truck near flyover Wanpoh, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Qaimoh, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Maruti car  Vakeel Ahmad Malik age of 45 years son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Rampora, Mattan. The injured was hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK01A-8151 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK09-0114 at Wahipora on National Highway, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Handwara, resulting in injuries to pillon Mohammad Ayub Mouchi son of Abdul Rahim resident of Maidan Chogal. The injured was rushed to Chogal Hospital where from he was referred to Bone and Joint Hospital, Srinagar. Both the vehicles were seized by Police and has taken up investigation.
