“The entire has been cordoned and all entry and exit points have been sealed,”

Meanwhile locals further told Kashmir Life over phone that elders of village have appealed to shops and business establishments to observe complete shutdown as there are reports that police is looking for few shopkeepers and drivers who they believe were ‘involved in case of stone pelting on the eve of Eid.’

“Right now there is complete shut down but elders have also appealed to observe complete shutdown,” they said.

The locals added that the stone pelting has stopped but heavy deployment of police including STF personnel, CRPF and 29RR have been made in entire area.
