Two persons including a three year old girl died while five others were injured in different road mishaps across the valley since Sunday.

A police spokesman said a motorcycle (JK04/7429) driven by Ghulam Hassan Dar resident of Watkaloo hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Akram Akhoon son of Ghulam Qadir Akhoon of Norpora at Watkaloo, Chrar-i-Sharief. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Chadoora where he succumbed to his injuries.

A Tata Mobile (JK05B/8769) hit and injured a three year old baby Rukhsar Nazir daughter of Nazir Ahmad Kaseer of Tumina, Handwara. She was shifted to Handwara hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Handwara Police has registered a case in this regard.

A LP truck (JK03B/6003) collided with a Tipper (JK01A/4906) at Drugtango, Kangan, resulting in injuries to truck driver Mohammad Ashraf Sofi of Urnhall, Anantnag. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kangan.

A Tata Sumo (JK05/3622) and a Santro (JK09/5977) collided at Doolipora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vilgam, resulting in injuries to four passengers including the Santro driver. All the injured were shifted to Handwara hospital. Police have registered cases in all the cases.
