Two unknown persons were drowned in the Pangong lake in Leh, police said on Monday adding that one body has been fished out while the search is on to retrieve the other one.
Leh police received information that some persons were practicing ice hockey on the famous Pangong lake near Mark Bridge Nyoma. While practicing the ice on the lake caved in and two persons were drowned in the lake.
Police party from police station Chushool rushed to the spot. One of the bodies was fished out while efforts are on to retrieve the other body also.
