Two persons were injured in two separate road accidents across the valley while a house damaged in fire, a police statement said.
“An unknown vehicle hit and injured 35 year old Mushtaq Ahmad Wagay resident of Demdula Dooru at Toll post Qazigund on NHW. The injured was shifted PHC Qazigund for treatment,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, a Tipper bearing registration number JK01Q-9218 and a Bus bearing registration number JK02N-3675 collided at Lawaypora near Radio sub-station Station resulting in injuries to a lady Hasina Bano wife of Shabir Ahmad Khan resident of Mudje Sopore. The injured lady was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
The statement further informed that fire broke out in the residential house of Fayaz Ahmad Ganai son of Ghulam Qadir Ganai at Rampora Tulmulla, Ganderbal, resulting in damage to the house. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and Police.
Meanwhile, the statement said that 21 year Umer Farooq son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Qamarwari consumed some poisonous substance at his home last evening. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital.
