SRINAGAR: A 30-year-old hotel cook was found unconscious in the bathroom of a hotel in the Indra Nagar area of Srinagar and was declared brought dead after being shifted to SMHS Hospital on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amin Malla, son of Mohammad Yousuf, a resident of Papchan in Bandipora district.
Officials said the hotel owner rushed the employee to SMHS Hospital after finding him unconscious. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
According to the statement of his attendants, Mohammad Amin was found lying unconscious in the hotel’s bathroom before being taken to the hospital.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated proceedings to ascertain the cause of death. (KNT)
