A snow slide hit an army patrol party of 56 RR in Machil sector of Kupwara district on Saturday.
A defence spokesperson told Kashmir Life that a snow slide hit an army patrol party which left five army men trapped.
He said a rescue operation has been launched to rescue the trapped soldiers.
Details awaited.
