Seven family members are feared to be dead after house of Satish Kumar collapsed due to heavy rains in Dessa area of Doda district.
As per SSP Doda Zahid Manhas, police and army have launched a rescue operation, but no dead body has been recovered so far.
He said, “Satish Kumar along with his wife, four children and his brother-in-law were reportedly sleeping inside the house when it collapsed.”
He, however, said that till the dead bodies could not be retrieved from the debris of the collapsed house, exact number of the dead could not be ascertained.
