Eleven persons including eight students were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

A Tata LP vehicle bearing registration number JK013/3530 rammed into a tree at Baygund, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to eight students of Hajji Ahad Public school, Awantipora. All the injured were shifted to Public Health Center Dadsara, Tral. Among the injured Afshana Binish, 14 years, daughter of Bashir Ahmad resident of Sangrama was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment.

Police said that a Maruti Car bearing registration number HP51/2994 driven by Jaffer Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Akbar resident of Payerpora hit and injured Mohammad Ishfaq Payer son of Ali Mohammad resident of Payerpora at Payerpora, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.

In an another accident a Truck bearing registration number JK01C/8200 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/5567 near Dangerpora, Bandipora, Sumbal, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Naseer Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Majeed and a pillion Ashiq Hussain Koul son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Pethpora Asham. Both the injured were shifted to JVC Bemina Srinagar for treatment.
