A HM militant who had recently infiltrated back from PaK was arrested by Handwara police. Police spokesman said in a statement on Thursday.
The statement added that during a naka checking at Chotipora, Handwara, Handwara police arrested a Pak trained militant of Hizbul Mujahedeen outfit, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat son of Mukhtar Ahmad resident of Shanoo, Handwara. The militant had exfiltrated to PaK during the years 2001 and had returned recently. Police added.
A case FIR No.291/2012 under section EMICO Act has been registered in this regard.
