A man who was abducted by unknown gunmen on Monday evening returned home this morning as he been been shot at by the gunmen in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
Unknown gunmen had earlier abducted Parvaiz Ahmad Wani of Batmuran Wanpora, Shopian. Wani returned home today morning, with an injured leg as he has been shot at his leg.
An official said that Wani has been taken to nearby hospital where from he was referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the case and further investigations are going on.
