People staged massive protests in Chenab Valley on Saturday against the alleged abduction of a 9 years old girl from Bhaderwah.
Reports said that a girl from Nalthi village went missing a few days back and police has failed to trace her. Her parents have alleged one Terath Bhagat from the same village abducted her daughter and soon after that police filed an FIR vide 98/2013, however did not locate the abductor.
People and students staged a massive protest against the incident and alleged that police is not showing keenness to trace the abducted girl.
The protestors gave three days ultimatum to the administration and have threatened to start massive protests on daily basis if the guilty is not being punished.
“Bhaderwah police have already registered the case and have started manhunt to to arrest the alleged accused,” a police official said.
