A day after Dr Muhammad Qasim Faktoo, the incarcerated leader of Muslim Deeni Mahaz termed Er Rashid’s “political gimmicks” much more “dangerous” than NC and PDP, the lawmaker of Langate Tuesday said his life is an open book and he does not need certificates from anyone—and that, nobody on earth, can stop him from talking about the political aspirations of Kashmiri people.

While lashing Rashid for his “Flag Drama”, Faktoo Monday said: “The red flag with a plough and three lines is a mark of the disputed accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India and the furling of this flag gives India a legal status in Jammu and Kashmir. People should not be led astray by these treacherous designs of Engineer Rashid.”

While diverting his response to Omar Abdullah’s remarks – wherein he had said he and his party is aware of the significance of State Flag and does not need any lessons from Er Rashid – Rashid said: “If Omar Abdullah was aware of the importance of 7th June, then why his father, grandfather and he himself didn’t ever celebrated it and never ever bothered to highlight its significance.”

In contrast to this, he said, Farooq Abdullah and Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah “sold people of Kashmir for the lust of power and betrayal, sell out, treachery are hallmarks of Abdullah family. If Omer Abdullah could tell the people of the state that what name could be given to Sheikh Sahib’s series of surrenders including when he left the power as Prime Minister of State and finally sold his faith and ideology to retain the same as Chief Minister and didn’t hesitate from calling the 22 years political struggle as political wandering.”

Er Rashid observed that Omar Abdullah by not commenting on Afzal Guru issue has agreed that he was responsible for his hanging in same parlance as his father was responsible for hanging of Maqbool Bhat and both acted as collaborators.

He reminded Omer Abdullah that it was he and his father who introduced BJP in the state as he was himself a minister in Vajpayee’s BJP regime and there can’t be two BJPs, good and bad one.
