KL Report

SRINAGAR

Keeping the second death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Mohammad Afzal Guru in view, the authorities are likely to impose restrictions over five police stations of old Srinagar, and parts of uptown including Maisuma on Monday.

Reliable sources in civil administration inform KL: “Keeping the sensitive nature of these places in view, they are likely to face restrictions.”

Pertinently, separatists cutting across their party line have in unison called for a shutdown on Monday to commemorate the second death anniversary of Guru who was hanged inside New Delhi’s Tihar Jail on February 9, 2013.
