Akhtar told CNS all party related issues will be discussed in the proposed meeting which will be attended by both top and second rung leadership.
“The basic motive of the party is to follow and accomplish the mission of late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed. There will be discussion how to take his mission forward. Responding to a question, Akhtar said that vacating CM residence at Wizarat Road Jammu “should not be linked to politics”. “It had become inevitable to vacate that house after the demise of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. We simply followed procedure and it should not be linked with politics,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bhartiya Janata National Party Vice-President Avinah Rai Khana said that they will wait till January 31, the day when crucial meeting of PDP will take place. “We will wait till January 31. We are not in hurry. Let PDP elect their leader with whom we can converse,” Khana said.
