Clashes erupted between government forces and protesters in Qaimoh area of Kulgam district Saturday, local sources said.
The clashes as per locals erupted after stones were pelted on army patrolling party. The area was observing complete shutdown, locals said.
Reports also said that army resorted to aerial firing to disperse the protesters.
Clashes were going on at the time this report was being filled.
