Prof Amitabh Mattoo, the former VC of the Jammu University was appointed as Adviser to the Chief Minister Mufti M Sayeed. He will have a cabinet rank.
Mattoo was considered very close to PDP for a long time but was formally inducted on Friday. He has been part of various initiatives track-II initiatives on Kashmir for a very long time.
