Crime Branch Thursday said it has ample proof to prove that former BOPEE chairman Mushtaq Ahmed Peer is not innocent.
“The evidences we have collected so far vindicates the stand of complainants and all these evidences prove that Mushtaq Ahmed Peer is the main culprit behind the paper leak scam,” a Crime Branch official told CNS on condition of anonymity adding that assertion or denial on part of Peer matters least at this stage.
The official said that all evidences refute the claims of Peer and prove that he is directly involved in CET paper leak and selling scam.
“We are questioning Peer on different subjects and issues. We called few students for questioning on Thursday and recorded their statements,” he said.
