As authorities Thursday barred Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani from holding a news conference at Hyderpora Hurriyat headquarters in Srinagar, the senior separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani has announced that he will hold a press conference on Saturday afternoon.
Terming the police act as undemocratic, Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar told CNS it is irony that in the era of internet when communication is so fast, authorities are preventing Geelani Sahab from interacting mediamen.
Meanwhile, Democratic Political Movement General Secretary Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi while condemned the act of the Government said that such act can’t deter Geelani Sahab from pursuing its agenda.
