SRINAGAR

Even after the government announced summer vacation for all the educational institutions up to college level to apparently quell the anti-Israel protests in the valley hundreds of students in the trouble torn Kashmir Tuesday protested against the attacks on Gaza.

Hundreds of students assembled at Gandhi Memorial College, Bemina Degree College and Amar Singh College and raised pro-Palestine and anti-Israel slogans.

Students from various colleges and schools also reached the press enclave and held anti-Israel protests despite heavy contingent of police deployed in the area. However, anti-Israel protests in Kashmir have remained peaceful so far.

Meanwhile, opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activists also held a protest at the Regal Chowk.

Reports of anti-Israel protests have also reached from many places of north and south Kashmir.

Pertinently, more than 180 innocent people have been killed by Israeli aggression so far.
