A day after Delhi Public School management closed the school for “summer vacation”, the government said that the school has given “extra break” to their students and “there is no problem in its announcement”.
“The school has given extra break to its students. If the parents’ association has any problem with the school management’s decision, they can approach the directorate,” Director School Education, Dr Shah Faesal told KNS.
“They will have to follow the summer vacation in case the government announces in future,” he said.
After furore over Abhaya ban in the school and protests by its students, DPS has through SMSes informed the parents that the school is closed for “summer vacations” from June 20th 2016.
“Dear parent, school will close for summer vacations from Monday, 20th June, 2016.”
