SRINAGAR: Security forces have recovered four IED packs along with other ammunition from the encounter site at Sanyal in Hiranagar, Kathua, an official said on Tuesday evening.
The official said that four magazines, four IED packs, two Chinese grenades, pairs of shoes, a bulletproof jacket, a sleeping bag, and a tracksuit were recovered from the site.
The recovery was made after a group of at least four militants managed to flee the encounter site in the Sanyal area on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, security forces have continued their searches in and around the encounter site to locate the fleeing militants. (KB)
