SRINAGAR: An army soldier allegedly shot himself dead with his service rifle in the Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that the soldier shot himself dead with his service rifle at the Chandhara area of Pampore.
He said that police have taken cognisance of the matter under 174 CRPC. “The cause of the death was not immediately known as to why the soldier man took this extreme step.”
