SRINAGAR: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal joined the Sangat at Gurdwara Chatti Patshahi in Srinagar on Wednesday, attending a special “Kirtan Darbar” organised to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, according to reports by Punjab Newsline.

Kejriwal described the event as a “once in a lifetime opportunity to honour Guru Tegh Bahadur’s supreme sacrifice for the sake of religious freedom and humanity.” He urged everyone to follow the ninth Sikh Guru’s teachings of love, secularism, religious tolerance, and peaceful co-existence. Kejriwal further announced that the Punjab government is holding a series of commemorative functions at Anandpur Sahib, inviting participation from the global community.
Chief Minister Mann stated that a jathha will depart from Srinagar for Anandpur Sahib, including Kashmiri Pandits, on Wednesday, with the group travelling through Jammu, Pathankot, Hoshiarpur, Dasuya, and Garhshankar before joining other jathhas from various locations on November 22–23. He highlighted that the convention would feature kirtan, drone and light shows, and an all-faith gathering in memory of the Guru, as reported by The Tribune. Mann stressed that Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice transformed the course of Indian history and continues to inspire humanity.
