With just a day left before the latest deadline set by the Jammu and Kashmir High Court ends, the government on Thursday closed down six more coaching centers in Kashmir Valley.

On Tuesday, The court while asking the divisional commissioner Kashmir to show cause why contempt proceedings shall not be initiated against him for non compliance of its orders had directed a panel headed by him to close down all the unregistered coaching centres within three days.

An official spokesman in a statement issued to GNS said that acting upon the directions of the High Court, a team of officers headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar inspected various Coaching Centres in Srinagar today.
The team sealed six unregistered Coaching Centres which include Daar’s Commerce and Management Studies Srinagar, Glorious Vision Centre of Mathematics Srinagar, Professor’s Academy Gulshan Nagar, Nowgam Bye Pass, Professional Institute Nowgam Bye Pass, Bhat’s Coaching Centre Nowgam and Ashraf Sir’s Coaching Centre Nowgam.
