Langate lawmaker Er Rasheed Monday produced the birth certificate of a juvenile who is languishing in Kotbalwal jail under PSA, on the floor of the house.
“As per the school records vide admission no 381 is 10/03/2002,” the certificate issued by the Government Middle School, says, the boy Sahil Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Malik is a resident of Pamposh Colony and mentions his age as 14 years.
However, on Saturday government had informed the house that the age of the boy is between 20 to 25 years.
Rasheed produced the certificate before the chair and termed that government is misleading the house and threatened of moving privilege motion.
The boy is an orphan and his father has died due to kidney failure, Rasheed said, even his house was damaged in 2014 floods.
Rasheed who visited Kotbalwal jail last week said that the boy is in a very pathetic condition and he is wailing all the day.
Government has sort one day time and assured the house that they will look into the matter.
