Acceding to demands of Opposition members, Legislative Assembly Speaker Friday said that SRO 105 was a “serious matter”.
Opposition members have been demanding revocation of SRO 105 which has made non-state subject bidders eligible for tendering in mining in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The SRO 105 is as serious issue and of public importance,” Speaker Kavinder Gupta said to applause from Opposition benches.
“I direct minister concerned, who is present in the house, to respond about the issue after question hour,” Gupta said addressing treasury benches.
Earlier, Opposition lawmakers from Congress walked into the Well while National Conference lawmakers led by A M Sagar took to intense anti-government sloganeering.
