Kashmir Bar Association Executive Committee Friday expressed concern over the ‘ineffective attitude’ by the concerned judicial officers towards the attack on the office of the Bar.
In a statement a spokesperson of the Bar said, “Because of the attack on the office of the Bar Association by nearly 20 people without any provocation or cause, a meeting was called by the Executive Committee of the Bar Association on Friday.
The Executive showed concern about the ineffective attitude by the concerned Judicial Officers to the incident and showed solidarity with the lawyers who were subjected to physical assault. The Executive Committee of the Bar Association decided that the lawyers will abstain from work on June 1.
