Clashes broke out in north Kashmir’s Baramulla shortly after neighbouring Sopore town bled again.
People, especially youth from Baramulla town took to streets after unidentified gunmen killed Aijaz Ahmad Reshi in Mandji area of Sopore town at around 8:30 am Monday morning.
It was the sixth killing in Sopore in last 22 days—and fourth within a week.
Police had to resort to tear-gas shelling to disperse protesters, pelting stones and shouting anti-government slogans.
