A bear attacked and injured a person in Kupwara District last evening, police said on Wednesday.
A 70 years old Aziz Ahmad Lone son of Jamal lone resident of Nutnoosa was attacked and injured by a bear at his village last evening. The injured was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, two women were injured in a house collapse in Kulgam District last evening. The residential house of Fayaz Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Adapora Khul in D.H Pora, Kulgam suddenly collapsed last evening, resulting in injuries to Maroofa Begam wife of Fayaz Ahmad Malik and another lady Taja Begum wife of Abdul Khaliq Wani. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
