Sharply reacting to the ban imposed on sale and consumption of beef in the state, Dukhtaran-e-Millat President Aasiyeh Andrabi Thursday said that the Muslim majority of the state will not allow this “illogical and unjustified” order to be implemented.

In a statement issued to KNS, Andrabi said that the order amounts to be interference in the religious matters of Muslims which will never be tolerated as even the revered Prophet (SAW) couldn’t forbid from anything that was made Halal (permissible) by Allah.

She appealed religious clerics to explain the legality of eating beef for Muslims in the light of Islamic teachings during their Friday congregational addresses.

“Banning, the beef or anything that is made Halal by Allah, that too in a Muslim majority land is an unbearable and open interference in our religion, we condemn it and want to make clear that we will never allow such orders implemented,” Aasiyeh Andrabi said in the statement.
