To protests against arrests, intense protests were reported from Beerwah Town, Budgam in Central Kashmir. The protesters shouting anti India protests engaged police in stone pelting, to which police resorted to tear gas shelling and lathi charge.
The town observed shutdown after 2pm and the streets presented deserted look.
