Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM) Sunday expressed deep concern over the “persecution” of Jammu Muslims at the hands of the communal elements.
MDM spokesperson termed the situation as “alarming” for the Muslims of Kashmir.
The general secretary of MDM Muhammad Maqbool Bhat said, “after the attacks in Poonch and Rajouri a driver Akhtar Hussain has been attacked and seriously injured in Dadpeth Kishtwar. The offensive posture of SHO Doda towards Muhammad Ayaz the district president of MDM shows that once again preparations are being made to repeat the history of 1947.”
“Muslims of entire Jammu and Kashmir are one and the enemy should be aware that entire Muslim population of the state will rise up against their evil intentions. They are trying to sell dreams to Muslims in the name of art and culture and those who raise their voice are being targeted and persecuted,” he said. “The drama of dialogue and slogans of ideological battles are being used to hoodwink the public opinion.”
MDM asked the Muslims to be aware of organisations like “Muslim Morcha” and programs like “Parwaaz Kashmir”.
