SRINAGAR: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir unit, has appointed District Prabharis for all 10 districts of Kashmir with immediate effect.
According to an order issued by Mohammad Anwar Khan, General Secretary, BJP JK UT, the appointments were made in consultation with Sat Paul Sharma (CA), Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and BJP JK UT President, and Ashok Koul, BJP General Secretary (Organisation), JK UT.
Under the new appointments, Shahnaz Ganie has been nominated as District Prabhari for Srinagar, Arif Raja for Ganderbal, Mudasir Wani for Budgam, Bilal Parray for Baramulla, Sahil Bashir Bhat for Bandipora, Advocate Sajid Yousuf Shah for Kupwara, Sajad Raina for Pulwama, Sofi Yousuf for Shopian, Altaf Thakur for Anantnag, and Advocate Wahajat Hussain for Kulgam.
The order states that the nominations take effect immediately.
