SRINAGAR: In a day-long tour of different panchayats in Block Dansal of Nagrota assembly constituency, Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana expressed confidence in the transformative impact of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, emphasising its motivational potential for people to leverage various welfare schemes designed for their upliftment.

“The Yatra will go a long way in achieving the objectives, enabling the nation to be a developed country by the year 2047,” Rana said, urging people to ensure that no one is left behind in benefiting from the schemes, aligning with the vision of the Prime Minister. He stressed that the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship programme lies in the active participation of people at the grassroots level.

While acknowledging the role of officials and governmental agencies in disseminating information on the schemes, Rana emphasised the pivotal role of people at the cutting edge in making the ambitious programme a success. He added, “The nation is traversing towards faster progress and prosperity as per the vision of the Prime Minister.”

Highlighting the essence of Jan Bhagidari (people’s participation) in developmental and welfare schemes, Rana asserted that the BJP is committed to participatory democracy and believes in public involvement in decision-making processes.

Speaking on the significance of on-the-spot camps as part of the campaign, Rana hoped that initiatives like PM Svanidhi Camp, Health Camp, Ayushman Card Camp, Aadhar Updation Camp, and PM Ujjwala Camp would significantly benefit targeted segments of society. He encouraged youngsters to participate in various competitions and activities proposed during the Yatra.

Commending the government agencies for their efforts in organizing the Yatra, Rana expressed optimism about its impact on marginalised sections, stating, “The Yatra has rekindled hope among the marginalised sections in particular about the effective implementation of the schemes.” He emphasised that economic emancipation, marked by increased financial sustenance and equitable distribution of resources, is crucial for sustained growth and development.

During his visit, Rana engaged with local residents, addressing various collective issues raised by them. He assured that these concerns would be taken up with the relevant authorities for time-bound redressal.
