Even after the imposition of the Governor’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir Friday BJP President Amit Shah said that the party is in talks with both PDP and NC and would like to form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Our talks are going on with the two parties in Kashmir. We will let you know once there is a development. We are trying to form a BJP government in the state,” Shah, told reporters in Vijayawada.

The recent Legislative Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir threw up a hung verdict in the state with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerging as the largest party, followed by BJP.

The care taker CM Omar Abdullah on Thursday decided to step down paving way for the governor’s rule.

“I’m sorry after an election with such a good turnout we have a situation of Governor’s rule but as I’ve maintained the onus lies with @jkpdp,” Tweeted Omar Abdullah.
