Minister for rural development and Panchayati Raj Ali Mohammad Sagar on Monday said that Bloeria Commission Report for creation of new administrative units which also includes setting up of new blocks in the state is under examination by the Revenue Department.

“After receiving the report from the revenue department, the government would implement the recommendations of the Commission,” he informed the House.

Replying to the supplementaries raised by several members on the main question by Abdul Gani Malik in the House today, Sagar said that government has already regularized 22 additional blocks in the state. “The recommendations of Bloeria Commission for creation of new blocks in the state would be implemented after approval of Cabinet,” he said.

The Minister also informed the House that at present there are 63 NES blocks having more than 30 Panchayats.
